Introducing the Online Collections Database!

The FIDM Museum is dedicated to making our collections accessible to the public, so we are thrilled to announce the launch of a brand new feature on our website: The Online Collections Database! You can can now search the collections digitally, browse pictures, and learn more information about the Museum's objects. The video below will introduce you to various features of the new Online Collections:

Simply visit the Museum's website and click on the "Collections" tab, or visit the database directly. Explore the Museum's Permanent and Study Collections, Textiles and Jewelry, the Rudi Gernreich Archive, the Versace Menswear Archive, Special Collections, and the Hollywood Costume Collection. Please note that only a small percentage of the Museum's holdings are currently represented on the database; as we continue to digitize our collections, more objects will be added. Stay tuned on the blog for answers to our most Frequently Asked Questions, and follow along with our social media this week as we feature just a few of the fascinating objects you can find in our database.
