Hooray for Hollywood!

This is the last week to see the current FIDM Museum exhibition Art of Motion Picture Costume Design, featuring costumes from all five films nominated for the Academy Award for Best Costume Design (including winner The Grand Budapest Hotel, with costumes by Milena Canonero) plus many more 2014 hits and last year's Oscar winner, The Great Gatsby

The exhibition unites more than 100 costumes from 23 films, from contemporary dramas like Gone Girl and The Fault In Our Stars to the music-driven biopics Jersey Boys and Get On Up. Costumes enhance the fairy-tale magic of Maleficent and Into the Woods, the superhero style of Guardians of the Galaxy and X-Men: Days of Future Past, and the historical splendor of Exodus, Mr. Turner, and Selma
