The FIDM Museum frequently partners with museums around the world to lend treasures from our collection to special exhibitions. Objects from the museum's collection are currently on display at the German-American Heritage Museum in Washington, D.C., as part of 100 Years of Hollywood: The Laemmle Effect, The exhibition traces the influence of German immigrants on Hollywood from 1915 to 2015, including directors Ernst Lubitsch and Roland Emmerich; actors Marlene Dietrich, Conrad Veidt, and Diane Krüger; and studio chiefs Marcus Loew, Harry Cohn, Irving Thalberg, and Carl Laemmle. It will be on view through September 26, 2015.
