The FIDM Museum is hiring an exhibition installer! This short-term contract position will play a vital role in mounting the 10th Annual Outstanding Art of Television Costume Design exhibition. As an exhibition installer, you will work closely with FIDM Museum staff to prepare incoming TV costumes for display.
We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who is capable of overseeing a busy, frequently changing work environment. Some background in museum studies is preferred. Must be available to work Monday through Friday, June 20 through July 29, except Monday, July 4. To apply, send your resume and letter of interest to internships@fidmmuseum.org. If you are interested in volunteering, please submit your letter of interest and resume to internships@fidmmuseum.org by the deadline above. Volunteers are required to commit to a regular one-day-per-week time slot throughout installation (June 20 – July 29, except Monday, July 4). FIDM Museum installation hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.
