The FIDM Museum is proud to debut our newly designed website, complete with a fresh color palette, streamlined organization, and most importantly, plenty of resources at your fingertips – all on one easy-to-use site.
Start your research off with a visit to the FIDM Museum’s searchable Blog and Online Collections, a database that we are always adding to as we continue our digitization efforts. Though the Museum is currently closed to visitors due to Covid-19 restrictions, we invite you to send research questions through our newly automated form. When the Museum does reopen, you’ll have no problem finding hours and location information on our Visit page; you’ll also be able to submit tour requests in advance, or inquire about venue rentals.
The FIDM Museum is proud to provide a robust calendar of digital events, all listed conveniently on our Events page. You can peruse the Museum’s featured Publications, or learn about our Objects on Loan to exhibitions around the world. The website is also mobile friendly, giving you a simplified browsing experience whether you’re at home or on-the-go.
Supporting the Museum has never been easier; make a contribution to our General Fund, fall in love with a piece of history on our new Object Adoptions page, or read our Collecting Policy for accepting physical donations.
We hope you enjoy the new website, designed by the team at Willhouse Creative, as much as we do. Let us know what you think – send us a message on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook with your feedback!

Any timeframe of when the museum will reopen?
Thanks for your question! We are only open during exhibitions, and our next one is set to open in March. Keep checking our website and social media for announcements. We look forward to seeing you soon!
